This drawing will feature one full horse or other large pet portrait using clear images (photographs) supplied by you. If the pose is right in one image but doesn’t show enough detail in some areas, please supply more images that show the needed information. I will let you know if I need additional images.
All portraits are guaranteed and will be refunded minus the return shipping, if received by me within 3 weeks of shipping to you, in the same condition as I originally shipped it to you.
NOTES • Your portrait will be executed on 100% archival rag paper. • Please allow about 4 weeks until shipping. • Please respond quickly to requests for comments/approval. • I may use the art for sales/marketing, unless told otherwise.
TO ORDER 1. Please write to me with questions and send images. 2. After we agree on pose, etc. place your order. 3. I will send a digital proof of the layout for review/comments. 4. I will make any changes and send a new proof. 5. With approval, I will continue the work. 6. When the portrait is close to finished, I'll send a new proof. 7. With final approval and shipping address, I will finish the job.
CARE OF ARTWORK All works on paper are fragile. Do not store long term in plastic. Archival matting material and UV glass are recommended for matting and framing. Hang art away from direct sunlight, radiators, and moisture.
Here’s what people are saying about portraits from Mara Levin: “I cannot express the great joy I experience every time I look at the portrait of Chelsea which you drew. You truly captured her essence in one image… It must be this gift of insight which makes your work so special.” Jennifer Tousignant
“As I look at the portrait which so adeptly captures Winnie’s personality, I’m reminded of the love and trust that has grown between us… I wish I could keep Winnie forever, but that is not to be. So, I will keep her portrait, and after she’s gone, I can still look into her eyes that reflect her regal, elegant, trusting and loving soul.” Sandy George
